The LOTR relationships club

Okay, this club is for Lord of the Rings fan, who ship characters in it. Each week there will be a new contest, and the voting of the previous contest. The contests will be a spacific ship or an event like (xmas, halloween, etc). The first contest is an icon contest, for this club. If you would like to join this new club send us a note and we will come back to you as soon as possible.

This week's weeky contest is anything of the M/E (Merry/Estella) ship. Each week I (the club founder) will pick a different ship for a contest. All enteries are due on next monday (April 12th 2004). During the submitions of the next ship (A/A: Arwen/Aragorn) will be the voting of the last ship contest (M/E: Merry/Estella). So start submiting!:D

II INTERNATIONAL ARTISTIC COMPETITION - TOLKIEN'S DRAGONS

Organised by: Municipality Centre of Culture & Art in Bielawa in co-operation with the Strategy & Town Development Department

The aim of this year’s edition of the artistic competition is to create a work showing a dragon or dragons - the characters of the Master’s literature (with the fairy tales included). The works can be done at any technique, for example graphic arts, sculpture and technical constructions. The Jury appointed by the competition organizer would pay their attention to the work’s ideas and the quality of the woks reflecting the dragons’ nature and the novels fidelity.

Jury composed of the Tolkien’s Association, local press and radio journalists and the artists will award the winner with the main prize of 150 Euro and will award two honourables – 50 Euro each.
